What are the current limits of your research process? What questions are you asking of your practice? This workshop introduces students to interdisciplinary methods of mindful observation\, offering tools they can apply to their own research and capstone projects. Katie Giritlian is an artist and designer who uses publishing and photography to create settings for both self-paced and communal learning. Caroline Partamian is a sound and visual artist influenced by her background in dance. Her work explores abreaction—the resurfacing of dormant memories stored in the body through physical movement. Both are editors of Armenian Creatives\, an artist-run press sustained by intimate collaborations and communal connections.
